It's no act friend. We do care. Keep in mind that what one does, affects another. We don't catch everything, but we do try.

The things we do are because we care, sometimes they are misguided but that is how they were intended.

Americans have spent billions in charitable giving to other countries privately and through the government aid. America has forgiven millions of dollars in loans to other countries. Americans volunteer time and their skills for problems and people all over the world. We are not perfect, no one is. It's always easier to say after the fact we should have done this or that, but no one can predict the future or what the result of good intentions will be. You do the best you can at the time and learn from your mistakes. We elect officials hoping they will make the right decisions sometimes they don't.

In a natural disaster we are the first to respond.

We do care about the rest of the world, and have proved it over and over. We are the biggest contributor to charity and disaster relief in the world. You people cry about us siding with Israel but forgot we gave millions a year to Palestine. Even though they call us the great Satan and burn our flags. They liked the money though. You want us out of Iraq even though YOU said that Saddam had to be removed. You just wanted to keep stealing the oil for food money. YOU let Iraqis starve to keep your economy going, and in doing YOU helped him build his Army. You claim you hate terrorists but YOU don't have the balls to fight them yourselves. We pay by far the largest share of the UNs bills, give them a building on our land rent free, and forget the millions of dollars in parking tickets alone the UN diplomats run up without paying, while all the UN does is talk about how bad America is. Your mad because we will not sign the Kyoto agreement but I don't hear you screaming at Australia. And China signed but is exempted from because it is a developing nation? Another way of speaking the truth is you want America to foot the bill again. Seems to always be the case doesn't it. You want us to stay out of your affairs until you break something then you want us to fix it or pay the repair bill.

There are good and bad things about America.

Good:
1. Eliminating polio
2. Helping victims of the 2005 tsunami
3. Eliminating Serb forces.
4. Giving aid to poor countries in need.

Bad:
1. Unfair global trade practices.
2. Handling of the Middle East over the past 15 years.
3. Running secret detention facilities throughout parts of the world known for gross human rights violations.

Because it is much easier to get a job done in the name of democracy and humanitarian efforts than to really give the plain, straight facts. Yes, it is undoubtedly true and a fact that U.S helps some countries. It is also a fact, though regretable, that the U.S does NOT care for all the world (remember rawanda por ejemplo, or the palestinians...)
Hey it even seems like the government has had trouble caring about our own country! KATRINA. KATRINA. KATRINA.

Wait until a natural disaster happens, and see how many of your people are BEGGING for USA's help...and we always come. That's how much we care.

Well, we try to. It doesn't always work very well. Then we elect idiotic presidents who like to blow all our money in on tanks and grenades.

We do (at least charity-wise) give the most money to other countries of anyone in the world, though, I believe. We're not all evil and snotty. I myself am considering joining the Peace Corps shortly.
