What would you do if someone you don't know just spat in your face for no reason?

Technically spitting on someone is assault. I would make a citizen's arrest, not necessarily to press charges, but to make sure that the person doesn't have AIDS.

That is scary. First of all you must be very short that they can reach you or in a sitting position. and they are standing up.
Secondly, nobody spits at someone for absolutely no reason except the insane. They imagine you doing something to them.
If you try to punch them in their bellies, make sure you can run away as fast as you can.
To spit back at their face, you have to be taller so forget that option. It will make you vulnerable since you have to climb up on something.
The best thing is to yell out loud --"watch out, Get away, "-------" is spitting at people. It is better for a mob to deal with the pesky spitter.

I think spitting on someone's face is a huge insult, worse than someone punching you.
I would def. fight back the person who spat on me.
