no he's not
because hes not that consistent in his batting
may be cauz of his injuries or fitness
u just cannot judge people by their few good perfomances u have 2 c them performing well at all times or when the team requires a good innings from u .
he can become 1 of the greatest but till now hes not

While Ramnaresh Sarwan is a good batsman, he cannot be termed as greatest batsman in the World as he is not at all consistent and have not set any batting record of his own.

You cannot compare Sarwan to the likes of:

Lara, Tendulkar, Ponting, Dravid, Kallis, Hussey, etc. This is only in the current era. What about Bradman, Greame Pollock, Richards, Gavaskar in the previous era??

I am sorry. To be considered great you really have to be. Sarwan is too inconsistent and is not really in that class.
