I am doing the same thing with my w300i on cingular. Here is what you do. As long as your phone has a DUN profile(Dial up network) profile and as long as you have the usb cable for it, you can get online on your computer. But the main thing to remember is to get unlimited internet for your PHONE. not some data plan. It works the same and is cheaper.

You can run if you have gprs activated on your mobile and hav the connectivity cable.

if your phone supports GPRS, then you can easily. you need usb cable and airtel gprs connection. bcaz it provide unlimited internet only for rs 250.
