use the simple rule

second hand: completes 360 degree rotation in 60 seconds (1 minute)
hour hand: comepletes 360 degree rotation in 43,200 seconds (12 hours)
minute hand completes 360 degree rotation in 3,600 seconds (1 hour)

The second hand makes a complete revolution every 60 sec or 1 min., so its period is 1 min.
The hour hand makes a complete revolution every 12 hours, so its period is 12 hours.
The minute hand makes a complete revolution every 60 minutes or 1 hour, so its period is 1 hour.

If you want the time period of the hands then..

Time period of second hand is 60 seconds < time after which it comes back to the same position in an angular sense>

Time period of minute hand is 60 minutes = 3600 seconds

Time period of seconds hand is 12 hours = 43200 seconds

Period is the time taken to complete one revolution.

The second hand takes one minute to complete one revolution, therefore its period is one minute or 60 second .

The hour hand takes 12 hour to complete one revolution, therefore its period is 12 hour or 43,200 second or one minute

The minute hand takes one hour to complete one revolution, therefore its period is one hour or 3600 second .

period refers to the time it takes something to happen.
period = 1/(frequency, cycles per second)
a) 60 seconds per cycle
b) ___(3600)seconds per cycle
c) 3600s = 1hour
[it takes the minute hand 3600 seconds to complete one cycle around the clock. ]
