I think the ones that watch the fox news channel do, I watch it because I can't believe that their viewers are so stupid. I think their demographic is young stupid men because they do tend to use a lot of hot young females as presenters and talking heads. However, the main propaganda is dished out by obnoxious males who, as a sideline, are into shameless self promotion and selling books. Currently Bill O'Reilly AKA "Culture Warrior" who fights for truth justice and the American way, claims that America was founded on Judea/Christian philosophy and anyone who disagrees with him, or Bush, is obviously an Arab terrorist or at the very least a traitor to the country. Fox claim to be fair and balanced, and independant. Their support of Bush goes off the chart, and the support of the Israelis by extension, is something to behold. If Tony Blair could have this kind of support from the BBC he would be a very happy man and would not need God. All this really could only happen in America and I should thank all you Americans for producing a country where this kind of entertainment exists. Thank you, America.

ya, know that is a good question. Some people think that God rewards/punishes America for certain actions or something like that and that's completely bogus. God does not pour judgment out on groups of people or countries, at least not like it might have been in the old Testament.

I highly doubt it. Why would God favor America over any other country. Plus we seem to be the most wasteful and selfish country that I can think of.

this is an interesting question...

the majority of americans claim to be christians, but most don't act like it, nor do they attend church regularly. as a Christian myself, i say yes, simply because of the large contrast in the condition of our nation and the condition of others
