I often see some strange people who wear a long pullover, jeans and naked feet with these toe shoes / flip flop shoes. Naked feet in winter? Are their brains not OK, are they not freezing and don’t they get sick? Does anybody here walk with naked feet in winter? Who invented this stupid, senseless and unhealthy fashion?

I wear sandals all year. My feet just don't really get cold even in the winter, even if I'm wearing sandals.
I like how you refer to it as "naked feet". It makes it sound so scandalous! Haha.

It's actually healthier for your feet to be out in the open, as opposed to shoes. Less bacteria, yeast, infections. I wear zori's (thong/sandals) nearly every day, when I'm not barefoot. My core temp is very high and shoes, long sleeved shirts, coats...never wear'em. I wasn't aware that other people thought it stupid, senseless and unhealthy. In CA, HI, FL wherever the weather is mild, fashion is whatever makes you comfortable. Just because it bothers YOU doesn't make it bad for everyone else.

Gees. I only walk with naked feet in the winter if the weather is very un-winterlike. My toes will get so cold that I can't think of anything else.

I wouldn't call it stupid or senseless or unhealthy. i actually wear thongs/flip flops/toe shoes (whatever you want to call it) in winter, i much prefer it than having my feet stuffed up in shoes all day. im really curious as to see what you wear. im not sure why it bothers you that much anyway.

Ditto emmababy...I hate shoes that enclose my feet. I wear flip-flops year round and my feet are still great (not beautiful, but nothing wrong with them)!

Why does it bother you what other people wear on their feet? It's not like you have to wear them just because they are. So no offense but, get over it.

yes i wear them but its not for fashion its just I'm really busy and its easier for me to just slip them on. people that i know who wear them alot all year around says the same thing. no i am very healthy and i don't get sick from wearing them. of course if it snows i wear reg. shoes.
