Ringing in the New Year doesn't concern me as much as telling the old one goodbye. That always bothers me. Maybe it's just because I hate goodbyes.

With my children at home. We will have sodas and snacks, we will watch the ball drop over time square and wish each other a Happy New Year. I will treasure these years because they will grow up and move on to their own celebrations.
