Yes, I think it's real. Here, I have a different thing but similar procedures to Ouija. Calling the spirits out of their world. But not everyone who play it realize that there is such a free lunch in this world. You got to pay something too when you are doing it. My friend got posessed while we were playing (we were still in the elementary school at that time) and she couldn't get recover before we called someone who master those kind of stuff (I don't know what's the term in English). She was ok afterward but she got posessed easily, until now. It hurts for her though.

I would say a bunch of bs. As is pointed out in part of the wikipedia article, blindfolded users can't come up with answers. Without the blindfold it's just like astrology or a cold reading in that your expectations guide the experience. There has been no objective measure that shows there is anything to this.

I think it depends on how much you believe in the "other side". If someone who is in tune with the "other side" uses one i do believe that they are more likely to have it work. If you don't believe in it to begin with then all you end up doing is making excuses as to how things happened. They can be very real, and on that note if you do believe and want to use one make sure you understand what you are doing, there are rules to using one. For instance, always keep it covered when you are not using it......

I'm sorry but they are not real, accurate anyway. If you ask the board a question and the thingy moves on its own then I would pay attention to it.

i've played them before and they for sure are real. i don't move it nor the players i played with do. i once played it by myself and the thing went straight to "good bye". it spooked me out.

I'm not sure, but my dad told me that he had one and it really creeped him out. My mom had one too, but she was too afraid to use it. My friends have told me some pretty weird stuff, too.
