i got gumbo cooking for the hoildays tired of turkey

My brother is going to fry a turkey in peanut oil. I wonder what THATS gonna taste like? and moms making chocolate pie, strawberry cake, banana pudding, and a bunch of other stuff.We are going to have the Family christmas this saturday. I just hope my dad is out of the hospital before then.

My moms house is ham, and some kind of cheesy potatoes. Boyfriend house is prime rib. Gumbo sounds good though.

our family tradition is feeding those who comes to our house during Christmas Eve....so every year we really prepare for a big feast..... this year we're planning to:
1. Whole Broiled Pig (Lechon)
2. Chicken
3. Vege Salad
4. Ice Cream (Chocolate Flavor this year!!!)
5. Barbecue
6. Punch Drink and Some beer plus wine...


thats all.... i hop people would be enjoying this year dining with my family during Christmas eve....

Nothing too hard because company's comming for the weekend. I'm serving Green chicken enchiladas, fabulous salad and crusty french bread with a extra chocolaty chocolate cake for dessert. Easy, yet yummy.

Collard greens, black eyed peas, ham hocks, macaroni and cheese, corn bread, baked ham... and I'm thinking about cooking a turkey.

that must be me you're a stable boy. the nutrition is going in the bin I forgot to place the water in the steamer... the beef is cremated and the dogs ate the dumplings. What a liberty!
