is anybody finding it hard to choose a present for their other half? he`s 45 and can`t give me any ideas,

It's so hard isn't it, to avoid the cliched usual presents of pants and socks etc....my other half is a chef and he constantly gets kitchen presents, I feel sorry for him and try to avoid doing that as he is stuck in the kitchen cooking the lunch anyway! Poor soul. Anyway, this year I have given him a voucher for a "proper shave" and grooming session, it's a proper shave done with a cut throat razor, Indian head massage and a hair cut at a top gents grooming salon in London. It's something different anyway, and he will enjoy the pampering.

Portable DVD player (that's what mine wants so he can take it to work)
Does he like to hunt? Try hunting stuff.
If he likes video games get that new nintendo game for him.
If you are not worried about money get him a laptop if he don't have on already instead of the DVD player.

Personalized gift basket...a gift certificate for a massage either by you or a professional, his favorite bottle of wine, his favorite cookies, candies, etc....a BB gun, a toy...make this year fun and use your imagination....a week-end car rental of the car that he's been eying...good luck!!!!
