I'm 16 years old and play soccer at a real high level. Year round, right now is high school season so it isnt as competitive. I want to get my belly button pierced but i'm not sure how it will go with soccer. Any advice or info? Anything will be great, i really want it but i have to make sure if i'm able to have it.

I wouldn't suggest it unless you've got at least three months of down time. Belly button piercings take pretty long to heal and playing soccer there's too much of a chance of you hitting it, not only that soccer requires a lot of movement, that might be a little painful for you and would drag out the healing process.

if u decide to get a belly button piercing now, at least wait until the season is cut for a while...so u can have at least a month to get used to it
and then u have to be extra careful that nobody yanks it or anything
i also suggest talking to a doctor about sports and 'odd piercings' so you have a professional standpoint too
b/c getting piercing yanked out can hurt like ****
lol...i know this by experience

alright well here is some advice ... i got my bellybutton done like a week ago and its perfectly fine but when you stretch or make any movement that is like stretching or anything similar it hurts bad.If you play soccer dont get it pierced until the soccer season is over because it could probably stretch.
i hope u have goodluck with ur piercing

if you do, you will have to put a band-aid on it before you play. otherwise you will probably get it ripped out. as long as you protect it, i don't see why you couldn't get it done.
