Explicit, huh? I wanna know! LOL. Just kidding.
Freud offered a compelling description...he related the fully concious, partly conscious, and unconcious by referring to them as the id, ego, and superego. The “id” (fully unconscious) contains the drives and those things repressed by consciousness; the “ego” (mostly conscious) deals with external reality; and the “super ego” (partly conscious) is the conscience or the internal moral judge.
Now dreams in general, they are variable...sometimes you play back events that happened during your day or even your life. They can be meaningful, sometimes you can dream of what is happening on "Divorce Court" because you fell asleep with the TV on and hear the plaintiff telling the defendant "he ain't no good and should go jump off a bridge". (Haha)
But recurring dreams are different...I believe recurring dreams do have a meaning....sometimes its your unconscious mind ("id") telling you something that perhaps your fully conscious mind ("ego") does not realize or know. Perhaps your unconscious is trying to tell you something you NEED to know, and you will keep having this dream until the matter is settled. I'm only speculating, because I'm no psychiatrist. I just believe in the power of the human mind. We only use 10% of our brains, the other 90% is working behind the scenes, trying desperately to get its message across...maybe we should heed what it is trying to say.
I'd suggest writing down everything you remember from a recurring dream in a "dream journal" (kept next to your bed) as soon as you wake up so you won't forget any details. Then, try one of these sites for more info when you have some details and can make an analysis. Good luck!

Dreams are just tid bits of your life flashing before you in little segments. That's why usually when you remember them one minute you're at work and the next you're on a plane. Dreams about body parts (teeth for instance) may indicate that you have a medical problem with that area. A reoccuring dream may be something you are stressing over, or simply really concentrating on.

Well if you can't explain it because it's too explicit, we all know it's a reoccuring sex dream. So I'd say you need to get some.

Dreams are the echo's of our thoughts, the "danger" component in some dreams is probably our subliminal unease with any given situation or event. The danger may be completely surreal in the dream....it represents a very real "situation" about which, you feel anxiety.

I think reoccuring dreams are your unconcious trying to get your attention. You have to analyze your dreams, figure out what your dream is saying and maybe that dream will go away once you figure out what it meant.
