Banks in Mumbai - India have been computerised, but this is not modernization..... If People have to wait for 40 minutes to update their Pass Book. If they have 2 wait for 2 days collect their cheque book? Why does it take 2 days for a F.D receipt ?
There is no meaning when Banks say that they are open from 8.00 AM to 8.00 PM. Everyday from 3.00 PM to 8.00 PM all that the bank does is reimbursement of cash accross the counter and updating Pass Books...This is a total waste of Manpower, Electricity and nothing more... If they work 8.00 to 8.00 then all services should be carried out and then only can U say the Banks have been Modernised ........
