It's oven gnomes. You need to make a sacrifice to them. Cover yourself in ketchup and dance around in front of the oven naked, while singing the oven gnome appeasement song which goes something like "YI YI YI WOOOOOOOOOOOO"
I guarantee that if you do this, the oven gnomes will no longer be your problem.

You have two (2) safety regulators on the ignition part. One is your pilot the other the safety regulator. The pilot is usually the easiest to change but it's still going to cost, usually about $90.00 for the part, this goes one way or the other, depends where you live.
The regulator can run over 120 but that depends also. If there both bad, get a new stove that's what we do on our condos we have, we have 75 of them. It just isn't good business to put in more for repairs than a new object, like a stove. Why pay $200.00 for repairs when a new one will run 350.

really need more info on the over.. could guess till we turn blue.. my guess... if its a newer model that uses a glow igniter, which it will if it doesnt have any standing pilots.. if it glows.. it could be a weak glow not getting hot enough to open the valve (safety) if it doesnt glow at all.. it might be broke/burned out. its about a 50$ part.. and is pretty common to go bad in the 5-10 year range (for me anyway)
