Are there stereos that you can put in a disc of mp3's and it plays like a regular CD? To me it makes sense to have such a thing. I know that everyone listens to Ipods. But what about Ipods being plugged into stereos?

My little sister has a stereo that plays cds in mp3 and wma data format which when I burn a data cd that holds 100-200 songs her stereo plays it as good as regular cd..hope this helpful

In answer to this question, do you recall the Mazda MP3 which came out in 2001? This car was revolutionary, as the main selling point was the audio system, which way back when was already able to play MP3 format. Here's a link:

The cd player I bought for the house plays mp3s and the one I just put in my truck plays mp3s. It is becomming fairly common place. You do have to ask though. Not all do.

My daughter's stereo plays MP3's and it's an old Phillips cd / cassette player.
