I'm moving to San Francisco in a few weeks for school, so I'm looking for something new to try to keep me healthy/fit. Any suggestions?

San Francisco is a great city for riding a bike around. At only 48 square miles you can get anywhere on a bike, and usually faster than in a car.

Wind surfing? Cycling will keep you fit, there's plenty of hills. When I worked in Alameda I used to cycle up Marin Heanlands before work and then take the ferry to the island. There's plenty of gyms too. Even walking round the city will keep you fit, those hills are steep.

Go up the many many stairs leading up to Coit Tower. I did it long ago, and it is quite a workout! Plus, when you get to the top, you can enjoy the views of the City.
