It does'nt always mean that it is something bad or good, you could of been thinking of a woman and you dreamt it, but you did not realise you were daydreaming or sleeping. Though, if it was a dream, it could mean a youngish girl/woman could become a part of your life and before you know it, she will be gone. Just be careful, it could mean various things, like someone dying, someone falling terribly ill etc, etc ...

It was a ghost or spirit. It may not have meant anything, or she might be trying to let you know something. If you are open to it, then just relax and ask her to come back. If she wants to talk to you or something, she will return. It could also be that she is passing through and did not intend for you to see her. Spirits are like that.
Also, when you turn to see them, they are more likely to disappear. You have to wait for them to come into your line of vision. It is kind of like being shy and needing to enter on your own terms. It is hard to resist the urge to look at something out of the corner of your eye, but if you see something, don't look directly at it until she comes into your full range of sight. That way she is more likely to stay and let you know what she needs.

I have heard of shadow people, but this sounds like it might have been a ghost. It could mean something significant is going to happen to you or someone close to you. If you see her again try and ask her who she is and why she is there.

she disapeard quickly
