I am a great artist. I wanted to create a paiting much like "Dogs Playing Poker."
My painting depicted monkeys dressed in casual wear, relaxing on a beautiful porch. I called it "Porch Monkeys."
No dealer will buy it because they think it's offensive. WTF?

Then they have to look into the cartoon strips and movies where the animals are depicted in the original shapes and colors with human names and nicknames doing all kinds of tricks and sketched in diverse attire attracting ridicule, insult and through such characterizations some humor. Then would it be wrong with your painting, unless it is extremely revolting the nicer, moral and religious sentiments. In the East God's have animal avatars and worshipped as such and sometimes adoringly ridiculed and put in odd and mismatched surroundings and profiles at times, of course out of fondness and affection to them and that was not a wrong there.
As someone said above, the west is becoming too nitpicking and politically correct that one has to freeze like a statue in public not to be involved in any scandal or controversy.

If you all didn't know, the term "Porch Monkey" is a racist one, used for African Americans (or black, I don't care what you use) like myself. It is unfortunately a term of hate. Fortunately, the love that I have for my God and mankind, including you even in your fallen state, leads me to tell you that I don't hate you. I don't hold anything against you. I hurt for you and I will most definately pray that God shows you who He is, someone who will give you more love than you ever thought possible. That, my friend, is what you have been missing. I hope to see you on the other side and we can conversate on how beautiful creation is over Manna Coladas.
