I just got a Christmas bonus a little larger than expected and want to treat myself. I graduated from college a few years ago so I know there are a lot of things I could replace with nicer things but technically I already own them so why fix it if it is not broken is my motto. I kind of what to treat myself any suggestions?

A nice way to treat yourself is to splurge on something that you've always wanted to do. For examlpe...(even with you being a guy...) I'm going to suggest a day spa. If you have never had an hour back massage. OMG! are you in for a treat! Just a suggestion. I know a lot of guys that wouldn't do that, but it's really nice and extremely relaxing.
I hope that you have a Merry Christmas!

Well you could always treat yourself by taking a little vacation. Why don't you do something nice like go visit a friend you haven't seen, or spend a day at your favorite city near by. Spend a day on the town. Or since it is christmas time you could always save it and spend it during the boxing day sales

Spend what you thought you were going to get. Put the rest away long term. Look at it in 3-5 years. Then sock it away again! That way you'll always have something!! And you will be amazed at the growth in that period of time!

Sock at least 1/2 away for your retirement--- I know yeah right, that is 40 years away, trust me, if you start now, it will be better in long run.

Then spend the rest in a fun way, or pay off those student loans.

I have two suggestions, 1 you could either invest it, or 2 you could go on a vacation with it.

I think you should save some of it, donate some of it to a charity of your choice and then take a holiday somewhere! Merry X'mas!
