last night, i got this call from an unkown no & when i pick up, i did not said hello & wait for the caller to say it first. it was silence a few second & the caller hang up. it happens two or three time.
this morning, the same no called again & i do the same thing.
then i got a message : "stop disturbing Kathy. i love her. we're getting marry. etc etc"..
what the heck??..
then, i just replied "i'm a *45 years old woman whose happily married for 20 years with the same man. i pretty sure, i like MAN and do not know any Kathy."
and then i remember, couple of months a go, there's this 'unknown no' send a msg something about me broke his heart for rejecting his marriage proposal in front of his friends and somehow his life is over ... bla.. bla ... bla..
i definately yet to receive any marriage proposal..
huh??!!

Not as odd as that. That is funny. Annoying for you I'm sure but funny.
We did get multiple calls from some auto body paint place yesterday needing 'roger' to come and get his estimate. Well there is no roger here I called them back and told them they had the wrong number they called back again and again with the same damn thing for Roger. So, I blocked the number.
I have been known to send texts to the wrong people at odd hours while out at club drinking. So, I now hubby takes the phone when I've had a few too many martini's. The text to his Dad on New Years, didn't go over well LOL

I have recieved some weird messages before. This guy sent me a text message once and it was so gross! I guess he thought I was his girlfriend. He sent all this crap about us making sweet love. I sent him back a text and told him I had no idea who he was and that his messages really freaked me out. He wrote back apoligizing and said he was trying to send his wife a message.
I can't imagine how embarassed he was!lol!

Yeah, people are kind of nuts. I gotten wierd text messages too that does not apply to me what so ever and when I tried to call them back, it was always voicemail. I just thought that over time, people change their numbers and you end up getting thiers.
I also accidently done it to one of my friends. I called him and the lady just told me that everyone's calling her looking for Joe and that she just got the number a day ago.

I get lots of calls for people that have overdue bills. Not me. Once someone came to my door trying to serve a person papers on something. They didn't believe me that they don't live at my address.
