Beautiful weather and less congested as the tourists and zonies go back to their states. It's still awesome time to go to the beach all the way to October. There's lots to do in SD on August, Sept... Like Over the Line Tournament, Labor Day weekend, Street Scene Music Festival and plenty more beach related events, nightlife club events, etc etc....

Pros: Good Surf, Good Beaches, Good Food, Good Fun: Skating, Snowboarding, Camping, Fishing, Amusement parks, Mexico, clubs, bars, and Indian Casinos.
Cons: Hot and dry during the summer, VERY Cold and dry during the winter, and eventually you'll start to hate Mexicans (It sounds racist, but ask a lot of San Diegans and they'll have at least one complaint about a Mexican)

This is an awesome town. You won't regret it. Please disregard everything the above poster mentioned. It's December, and the weather is incredible: sunny and about 70 degrees. During the summer, it's normally sunny and about 80 degrees. It only gets hot way inland.
The people are very cool,laid back, and embrace diversity. The poster above is obviously not local.

I like it here! The economys not to bad, however prices for rent and homes are high. So if you dont have a plan for money, I don't recomend it. However if you do have an idea in the back of your mind, give it a try! As for weather, its great here.

Its GREAT! Its Christmas Eve 2006 and its a sunny 80 degrees! And the women? Wow wee wow!! Only downside are the mexicans, they aren't very nice. If you are a non-mexican, they can't stand you. what a shame
