I'm 17 and a half years old and i haven't taken any driving classes yet. Can I take my permit test right now without taking any classes? or do i have to take driving lessons before i can take the permit test?

Depends upon the state you are living in.. Check on your states Department of Motor Vehicles website.

not necessary to go for drivin classes ..but ,jus check out with the road transport website coz the rule changes with the states..

there are a lot of tests you need to go though. Not to mention a lot of hours driving. you need i think it was about 1000 hours or something. it helps if you have a parent get a teaching licence or whatever

um not necessarily but it would probably be a good idea...not that you don't know anything about driving just...my bf didn't take any classes or anything of the sort and yea its kinda scary

Nope, u don't have to take classes... just be sure to know that drivers book and u can get them...

depends on the state.
I know in California you can just take the test.
