Np! You would be infertile at this point. You are fertile between 12-16 days before your next period. Your luteal phase (from the day you ovulate until your next period) is constant for each individual although it does vary from woman to woman.
The best way to find out when you are fertile is by taking your temperature every morning when you wake up. It will rise slightly when you ovulate (around the middle of you cycle) and will stay higher until your next period. Once released your egg remains viable for fertilisation for just 12-24 hours.
Also keep an eye on your mucus. It will becoe stretchy like egg white as you approach ovulation. Sperm can surivie for up to 5 days in this most fertile mucus.
When trying to concieve it is recommended that you have ntercourse every other day from the end of your period until 2 days after your temperature rises.
Make sure you are taking your prenatal vitamins and Good Luck!

You need to work out how long your cycle is. The cycle is broken into 2 halfs. The first half is from your period until you ovulate (which can vary in length between women) the second half is from ovulation to your next period which is 14 days long. Therfore subract 14 from the number of days your cycle is and this should be the day/s you are fertile (if you have regular periods) You can usually tell when your fertile anyway, cervical mucus goes slimey like egg white, you feel more desire around this time, the cervix goes soft and is hard to feel (is low and hard before ovulation). You can also monitor your basal body temperature for changes which is an indication too. Try the website www.pregnancylounge.com they have lots of usefull help to work out when your fertile. Good luck!

no. most women are ferile from the 13th to 15th days of the cycle. that is from the first day of the menstrual cycle. to determine the best time to become pregnant, get the thermometer which measures the drop in the temp on the day the egg is released from the ovary. it is the next twelve to twenty-four hours after that temp drop when pregnancy has the best chance of occurring. the pharmacy should have the thermometer you need. it is NOT the regular type thermometer, so you have to ask for it. you will need to check your temp before getting up out of bed so you get the most accurate reading. it reads in tenths of a degree and the drop may only be five or six tenths of a degree so you have to be as accurate as possible. and you should also write the reading down so you know when the drop occurs.

So, the acutal way to calculate it is 14 days before the first day of your next period so unless your extremely regular (like to the day) your going to need asome help in predicting when that is. This web site is great for that http://www.mymonthlycycles.com/home.jsp
It helped me figure it out buy tracking 3 of my past periods and then from that it figured out that I actually ovulate 12 days after my period starts. So If i had gone with the typical 14days after your period theory I would have missed ovualtion every month.
Hope that helps! Good luck!

actually it's 14 days before your next period starts. but that's just a number to go by, everyone is different so it could be off a little or it could be right on. try on ovulation prediction kit for some help to know better.
