You see a Urologist for a circumcision.

The pros, less likely to get infected, easier to keep clean, (some women) find it more asthetically appealing.

That's really all I know being that I don't have one. I just was at a Urologist office one day for other reason and i overheard a guy talking about that was why he was there. They put you completely asleep and you should have itching, pain for about a week-2. They will give you some low grade pain killers. You should be able to return to work the next day.

There are many benefits of circumcision, including better hygiene, health, cleanliness, comfort appearance to most women, self-esteem and FAR better sexual sensation for both the circumcised man and his female partner. There are no negative effects of circumcision. On the other hand, if you stay uncircumcised, you will have problems keeping clean and odour free, due to a continual build-up of smegma. This smelly cheese-like material forms behind a foreskin no matter how often you wash and it harbours infections as well as smelling disgusting. During sex a foreskin prevents proper intimate contact and restricts sensation for both partners. It is far better to be circumcised. The operation is a minor one and can be performed under a local anaesthetic which prevents any pain. Afterwards there is only minor discomfort for a short while and the cut edges will be fully healed in about two weeks. Go for it - ALL MEN SHOULD BE CIRCUMCISED!

Not necessarily only a Urologist. A general surgeon can do it. Its a relatively simple operation. It is usually done under local anesthesia, which means you will be aware of what the doctor is doing, but not actually feel the pain. In some customs and olden days, it was done without the local anesthesia ! Ouch !!

Reasons for doing it:
1. Custom / religious
2. You want to have relatively extended time during sex. This happens because, the glans penis or the front of it becomes less sensitive. (You can acheive a similar thing by applying a local anesthetic cream on your glans peins (pink part) Becasue of lack of sensation 'you will come later' !
3. Drops of urine may collect in the foreskin, if not kept clean, leading to somekind of infection. So the excision of the foreskin eliminates urine stagnation. Indicated in such cases as a preventive measure.
4. Circumsicion does not harm, cleaner situation.
5. Who gets pleasure and how is 'imaginary' !
6. After Surgery, minimum discomfort and recovery is generally fairly qucik.
7. Nothing to be afraid off !

Men who have been circumcised may last a little longer during sex, because the constant exposure of their penis against clothing, etc, gets them more used to friction. Circumcision cuts your risk of getting HIV/AIDS in half. There's a slightly smaller risk of certain cancers in a man and his partner if he is circumcised. It's easier to keep the penis clean if you're circumcised.
Overall, though, circumcision is not necessary for general health. There are details about what's involved online at the websites below.

Gee, not much difference. Miconozole creme sold for women at the dollar store usually takes care of any problem of not being circumcised. It helps loosen up an over tight forskin.
Actually, I am told by an uncircumcised man, that the foreskin helps increase sexual pleasure for the male.

Circumcision has no actual benefit whatsoever unless the foreskin is causing you pain. I wouldn't let anybody go near my sergant major with a scalpal, ever. Period.

so many people have written about circumcision and most of them are right. I like to add one more advantage is that it prevents penile carcinoma. ( cancer)
