In our culture, gays or lesbians r not respected in the soceity. Morever his crush doesn't know about gays or lesbians! He is from India and he follows Indian culture.

Become better friends with him. If he isn't gay (or doesn't know it yet), he might be a little freaked out if you just straight out tell him that you like him. I think as your friendship increases, he'll tell you more (if he likes anyone or not). Have a deep talk and eventually tell him that you are gay. Then see how he reacts to that. Don't just go blurting it out and telling him you like him. Take it slow. It is risky trying to tell another guy you like him especially if he is straight. Good luck.
