I need to reach a famous chef. I don't want to be involved with stalking, people finder, or anything of that sort. I just need to ask a professional and successful chef about a few questions that I have about opening my own restarunt. So... How do I reach famous/successful/professional chefs about my questions?

You don't need someone famous, you need someone successful. You can do that in your own town. Start with a local place, ask to speak to the owner, ask if you can pick his/her brains. Then ask if their is someone else they know that you can talk to, and is it okay to use their name when you call. Then keep repeating that as you work your way up.

Famous chefs often have agents or they appear on TV, Radio and in print. Write to the agent, producer of editor, but be ready for a negative response why should a famous chef (or any chef for that matter) help you to compete with them?

Well you have to look for what agency they work for or their managers. That is the only way you can reach them its like if you will be talking to a middle man. You can also go to a family owned restaurant and ask them business questions. Hope this helps. Good Luck.
