Hey - if she's hungry, feed her, and be proud that you can help her, whether she's a friend or not.
As far as being a *****, we're all that way at times, forgive and forget, I say...
It sounds like you're doing the right thing in standing by her... its an important lesson to learn - helping the less fortunate.
Someday she, or someone else might be there for you...
As for social stuff - heck, in high school, most of my friends, especially freshman/sophomore years - teachers were my best friends as well... over time you'll make more friends, get a girlfriend (what about the kind of poor girl...), and all those other things.
Take care,
-dh

watch old episodes of the simpsons and family guy and other comedy shows religously. no cheesey comedy. just adult humor and stuff like that. just trust me on that one. dont wait for others to make the first step to making friends with you. what are your interests? its not hard to find others with common ones. if your into video games, look for a kid with a doom 3 t shirt or something and strike up a conversation about it like: ask them "have you played the new Tony Hawk Pro Skater game?" its tough being a kid sometimes but i look back at that being the good life so enjoy it! as for the girl, if youre interested in her just tell her. the worse that can happen is that she wont come over and steal all of your food. its easiest to do this in a letter if youre shy. write it and re-write it and make sure it says exactly what you want. and hey christmas is around the corner so you could give her a gift she could like a gift card to mcdonalds. good luck.

She wants food because she needs it, because she is hungry. If you want to be a real friend, be a friend-in-need. Try to reason out why her attitude is annoying you. You will soon find that it is because you are effluent, you are not used to the attitude of the poor. You will soon get over with it. Don't lose a friend just because she is ill-fed and hungry. Once her conditions improve, she will no longer be asking for food. But she will remember your kindness and your friendship will be a lasting one.

She's probably hungry if she always wants food. If you really care about her, be empathetic and understand that she may not be getting enough to eat at home. Be a good friend to her. Your kindness will pay off for you in the longrun, even if just in the way you feel about yourself. It might be even cooler if you expect it ahead of time and offer her something to eat when you know she is coming over, maybe even make something for you both to eat.

Don't be mean, it sounds like she's got a problem here, a dark secret. She could be having problems in her family with food. Sometimes, some families can't afford to buy food because they have no money. If she's your friend, maybe you can talk to her & find out what's going on, don't shut her out, especially with food. You should help her & be there for her. You should welcome her in your home to eat anytime. It's just food, don't make it a big deal. It's good to help when you got a friend who's reaching out (in a different way) but it's good to help ya' know.

If you really consider her a friend, then share with her. She'll be very appreciative and will repay you many times over when she can.
Giving to others, especially those less fortunate, is something that makes us feel really good!

Its always good to feed the poor but she should know her limits. And it's a very good thing your helping her, you shouldn't be upset.
If she's your only real friend then she should understand if you tell her.

i say let her eat and have a talk with her and let her know that sometimes she hurts your feelings and ask her not to do some of the things that she has been doing. if she is a true friend then she will understand. but let her eat:P
