He didn't bring sexy back. He tried to manufacture it, and you either have it or you don't.

You want sexy, try some old school. Barry White, Bill Withers, Al Green, Prince, Luther Vandross, Peabo Bryson, Aretha Franklin, Etta James. Ella Fitzgerald had some really hot tunes - try listening to her sing "Bewitched Bothered and Bewildered." When she sings about being oversexed, you can really feel it in her voice.

Try some of the soul one hit wonders and powerhouses of the 1970's. You can understand the words and the music is great too.

Al Wilson - Show and Tell
Spinners - Could it be I'm falling in love
Donna Summer - Love to love you baby
Diana Ross - Sweet love hangover

Justin's music is tired, too electronic, you can't understand the words, and the melody is all over the place. How can he be sexy when you can't understand what he is saying.

Charlie Brooker wrote an article on this very topic back in September, pointing out that "he should be jailed for this": http://www.guardian.co.uk/g2/story/0,,1872909,00.html
