personally I think Lucas should have stopped after the Empire Strikes Back it all got a bit silly then with the Ewoks etc. I know it is fantasy but that was stretching credibility to the extreme, c'mon space Nazi's, and they struggled with a few Koalas. I think they would have nuked them to Sunday.
I'm not dissing TESB or SW I think, at the time, given the technology they were miles ahead of anything else and opened the door for other films in the genre but when digital technology was perfected the storys were driven by special effects and were more about video games and merchandising than anything else after all - nothing was resolved and to make three films about the rise of Darth Vader was def. OTT but I guess George could care less about my opinion he has got his cash!

More the old ones than the new, but fantastic films. Great classics. Has aged well, some of the old movies havent, and you just end up laughing at the silliness (who still watches the first Terminator?!)

once a star wars fan ALWAYS a star wars fan. Otherwise you were never a fan to begin with. That said I LOVE star wars still! :) hahaha

These 3 newest movies kind of hurt it for me, and Star Wars Galaxies and the recent crap with it, but ya, I still like it.

Just the original ones seems Lucas needed another kabillion and made the prequils. It was not the same I realize it was a different set of special FX but I really did not care for the character development you know what I mean don't ya cause you feel the same.

Yep. Every now and then my pay tv puts on a Star Wars marathon. My kids and I always watch them. Over and over and over. Great movies.
