All right... I've been able to answer plenty of relationship questions, and this one has me at a stand still. I need a little advice.
There's a guy at the local grocery store who gives me special treatment, compliments, BIG FLIRTY SMILES, etc... He looks about 22 years old, I'm 29. He has seen me with my stepkids, and is still very very VERY nice to me. I don't see him doing this with anyone else, ever. He has never seen my "save the world-bruce willis/mark whalberg-looking fiance." I feel like he's trying to work up the nerve to ask me out or something. I'm afraid to look at him now because I don't want to give him the impression that I'm interested in him. I walk away more quickly than I would naturally because I don't want to help create any uncomfortable situations. I guess you could say that I'm afraid of infidelity so much that merely the suggested presence of it unnerves me. What should I do next time I'm buying meat, and this guy is smiling at me while he is working?

First, you can only be unfaithful if you married Die Hard since last we corresponded. If you did congradulations.
Second, You can only be unfaithful if you have a thing for the boy in the meat market. You are trying to say it is him watching you but obviously you are watching him as well. Naughty, naughty.
Third, don't worry about it. You are not going to be seduced by a prime rib roast of an eight inch t bone unless you let yourself go. And by the way, don't walk away so fast, it firms up the back side and gives him something to focus on.
And fourth, use these words in a sentence: "I bet your mother is so proud of you...." That should shrivle up his sphincter quite a bit. If that doesn't work set him up with one of your girlfriends.
What ever you do, do not share this thought with unbreakable. It is like you catching him checking out another girl. He may not react too well and who knows what will happen.
Of course you can always become a vegetarian.
BTW, blame it on desperate housewives.

First of all...you have never seen him doing it with anyone else because I am sure you are not at the grocery store during his 8 hour shift. Here's a thought...go to a different grocery store if it makes you that uncomfortable. He's a player, get over it!

why dont you just ask your soon to be husband to join you on you next trip to the grocery store, that should do it! If he wont come just make sure you flash your engagement ring where the meat man can not miss it, he should get the hint then. Good luck!

You are a very attractive woman and I think you are doing exactly what you need to do. And that is do nothing to make him think in any way, shape or form that you are even slightly interested in him.
P.S. Was I too nice? I was smiling while typing my answer :-)~

send your boyfriend...who sounds really hot by the way...to the store for your "meat" or take him with you...it should diminish his fantasies about you!! you can hold your fiancees hand and pat him on the butt while you get your summer sausage from the young lad if you join him on your voyage to the meat market!! LOL GOOD LUCK!!

>Maybe this guy is a throwback to the time that had people in commercial situations that actually were nice, friendly individuals that were enjoying their jobs, were happy and actually wanted to please their customers.
You are thinking he is weird and it may just be your narcissism that is confusing you...or maybe he has mistaken you for a normal person.<

It's always good to mention your boyfriend in your conversation with him.
(when I woman mentions her boyfriend while speaking with me, I always get the hint).

Maybe he just thinks you are nice (and cute). They deal with a lot of crabby people all day and you probably just make his day. unless he is hitting on you, I wouldn't worry about it. Just be nice.
