Good question. I would take it up with an attorney. You would have to prove that she is missing tho.

The best thing you could do would be to contact your lawyer. If you stopped paying and your ex took you to court, you might owe the back child support. I would definitely seek advice from a lawyer that way if you had to an order would be signed from the judge.
Why are you more worried about the support? I would think you would be worried about the welfare of your daughter?

If there is a court order in place the answer is yes. child support orders must be paid until they are changed and signed by a judge. Even if she ran away to live with you, you would have to pay until the court order was changed

Sorry to say, "yes" you are responsible to pay child support. You still are her parent. We take care of our children. If for some reason you don't want to pay child support give up your parental rights. You pay child support for your daughter.

You are obligated to pay CS until the Court orders otherwise. Keep paying so you don't get behind. Also--if she is not going to return to the custodial parent, petition the Court to stop child support. Most Courts will let you stop it before the child turns 18 if they quit school.

the answer is yes. you should still pay your child support so that no arrearage builds up. when she returns home then you can take legal action to recoop your money. or you can contact your local child support office and inform them of the situation and get their opinions about it.

i would have to say yes, because she still needs a safe, warm place to come home to when she is caught.
to be sure, contact your legal aid office. they are in every state and most counties. they go on a sliding scale, so its free to most.
