What Would USA and/or The World be like?

OK, first of we should keep in mind that south never had a goal of occupying the north.
So a southern victory would lead to successful secession and 2 nations instead of 1. north USA and south USA.
Now the north would definitely be slightly more worth off then it is now, but it would probably still have all mid-west and pacific states, the only exclusions would be the original seceding states.
So as far the North is concerned it's history would be ALMOST the same as present.
Now the South would be in BIG trouble. in 60 years they would realize that slavery is not cost efficient, and that they cannot rely on agriculture as a mains source of economy anyway. However it would be TOO LATE, and the south USA would basically become a third world country subsisting on tobacco and cotton sale, as well as illegal crops, and tourism from more wealthy countries like north USA and Mexico.

Segregation will still occuring in African-American and other minority groups in the USA as a big major thingy, than a small thing.
Slavery will still occuring. The flag will be different, Union Resistance will probably occurs.
Slavery Resisent from Africans will occur. Civil Rights won't exist. Mexico will either win the war for the boarder land in some river than the Rio Grande. Nuclear Age will begin. Face of USA and Soviets will be defaced by nuclear war. USA economy will probably drop, arm forces will probably drop as well.

Lose to Nazi Germany.

The total Europe will be in Nazi Power and maybe still be in war with Soviets.

N, Korea and South Korea will be Communist

Saving other 3rd world countries from Communism Power will fail (In south America)

True American President wont exist or at least never went into presidency.

Imperial Japan will win the Pacific Ocean (WWII)

High advance weapons wont exist in US, instead probably stuck with muskets or weapons from WWII era.

Possibly no alliance with anyone, alliance with Britian will be broken, and France.

Every Nation is Hostile aganist Confederate United States

thats all i can think of what will happen of the United States wont exist but exist as Confederate Nation.

Andrew makes some good points, but I disagree with

I think we'd lose World War One instead (for the same reason - Southern conservatives are isolationists). Europe would instead be a Prussian Empire, ruled by a Kaiser. Hitler will not rise to power because the empire would be stable more or less through his lifetime - also, he would have no reason to be bitter about a loss in 1918.

I would also add: there would be a state religion, Southern Baptist; the church leaders would also be the leaders of the country. The government would be a representative theocracy, with whites in all levels of the bureaucracy.

Whether or not we'd get along with the Prussian empire, or what the Prussian empire would do about Russia, is open for a lot more debate.

I don't think the north would have given up that easily, either that or the slaves would have ended up revolting and taking over the south themselves and coming back into the Union. I don't think it would be any different the only difference would be the history books.

I think our country would still be in a civil war just like other overseas countries! It would be a very bad place to live... Yes worse than it is now!

If they were able to remain independant, there would be a lot of border clashes as slaves escape to the north
