Parents would just be thrilled if their children showed them they loved them by giving them a great impulsive hug!

I should know, because that's all I ever wanted from my son.

But, anyway, here are a few links which will give you some great ideas:

Bath salts, easy to make and inexpensive. Buy epsom salts, suntan oil (not lotion) and a plastic jar. Mix a few tablespoons of oil into the salts - use a ziplock bag or big bowl for this- then scoop into the jar and close it. You can also use a few drops of peppermint oil or extract instead of the suntan oil. Just whatever scent your parents like. The dollar stores or Walmart usually have inexpensive jars and containers.

How about making a bunch of "IOU"s.

One could say "IOU one week of washing the dishes - to be collected anytime you want".

Another could say "IOU one week of taking out the garbage - to be collected anytime you want".

The list can go on and on - making up the IOU's for anything that you'd like to do for your parents, grandparents, siblings, etc. I'm sure that the IOU's will be very much appreciated.

Have a lovely rest of the day. Happy Holidays.

A massage or a spa-treatment gift-card is always a hit, with my mom. It is something that she would most-likely not indulge in when left to her own devices, yet, it is something that she truly enjoys and deserves. . .

Besides, even if she does go on her own, can you ever really over-do the spa-treatments?

I made an ornament this year. I took a plain white glass ball and painted it and then glazed it. It looked better in my mind than it actually turned out but it was from the heart!

I'd bake, but picture frames are cool. I just helped my sister make foam magnetic picture frames that were 3D and made to look like some of my mom's favorite things (coffe cups and hamsters)
