A workshop is a gathering or training session which may be several days in length. It emphasizes problem-solving, hands-on training, and requires the involvement of the participants.
A seminar is, generally, a form of academic instruction, either at a university or offered by a commercial or professional organization.
The term conference can be used to describe any meeting of people that "confer " about a certain topic.

Hi,
The similarity between all three is Information sharing and when we speak about Differences i will tell u exact meaning of All the three so that u will get the difference.
Work Shop: It is like a class held for a set of people where a teacher or set of people will teach and also allow the participants to do the things practically which were taught in the workshop.
Seminar: Here one person will share the information with a set of people and here participants can clear their doubts if any.No practical experiance for the participants.
Conference: This is nothing but a set of people meeting together to share their knowledge where the session goes like a discussion all the participants actively participate in this event.
I think now u got some idea about what exactly each mean.
This is what i can tell u.
Bye..
