No, but i have a job that entails public contact and for some reason people feel the need to spend 20 minutes on the phone for a 30 second question. I really don't need a life history, people.

I actually do want to hear a lot of the details of my fiance's day. However, I don't know if I would want all the details. It's nice to have a picture of how his day is, but it's not like he tells me about every trip to the water cooler.

I can PRETEND to be listening, but in my head I'll be singing "tarararara hey!!!" Sometimes you take a very big risk when you ask :"How was your day?" It's enough with a nice and polite "well thank you ", but no, instead the person begins a very detailled description of every f**k thing that has happened in her/his day (90% of the times is a her).. But well :)

Depends on who it is.My daughter I love hearing every detail,my boyfriend I don't mind as long as he doesn't complain for 2 hours,my friends I care about I am interested, but people in general-I'll listen but don't really want to know all unless it's interesting.

No thank you. One of my great aunt's never comes up for air. She goes into the most excruciating details and minutieu of her day. She's a bore but she's totally oblivious to the fact. You could fall asleep and she'd still be yakkin when you woke up.

I love to relive every horrifying and nauseous detail with a person. Just drag it out and inspect it piece by piece. It helps if there is lots of accusation, screaming and crying. Just lift that lid off of my dumpster and unload that awful burden!

Yes I do. I like to hear what others have done. I like open people. If someone isn't open with me even on emails it makes me feel like they are hiding something. So I like all the details I can get.
