You may not be using the proper technique. Prior to applying mascara, place the upper frame on the upper lashes and carefully close the lower pad against it. Squeeze gently and quickly about 30 times. Be careful not to twist or pull during the curling process and do not squeeze and hold. Also be sure the pad is clean, soft and in good condition. If it has mascara on it, the lashes will stick to the pad and pull out as you remove the curler from your lashes.. Mineral oil will safely remove built-up residue. If the pad becomes brittle, just like crimping your hair, breakage can occur. Replace the pad with a silicone one for best results.

Turner? You must mean curler, you probably twisted/pressed down to hard at the wrong angle. I hope you curled your lashes with no mascara on because that could have made your lashes stick to the curler pad...

You were obviously squeezing way too hard!!! Don't use that one anymore, and wait till they grow out!
