Here is the scenario: There is 1:40 to go, with one timeout. You're trailing 24-20, so a field goal is not an option. Taking Peyton Manning and Tom Brady out of the equation, which of today's NFL starters would you want taking the team down for the winning touchdown?

Brett Favre....still a top QB talent wise. Could use a little more talent to play with. Has excellent pocket presence to buy that extra time. I don't think physically his play has dropped enough to take him out of the top tier of QB's. It has been the lack of talent/exp surrounding him.....

Well since you took out Manning I would go with Drew Brees if we are talking QBs from this year. All time withou Manning or Brady I would go with Farve he is one of the elite QBs when it comes down to the 2 min drill. He is just now at the end of his career and has little to no surrounding talent. Mainly on their O line.

I'd have to go with Drew Brees. That guy has been an absolute stud this year. Did anyone else see him going down to New Orleans and doing what he has done? I really thought his career was over (Game winning wise). The Chargers would be undefeated if he was still there. I really hate saying that too since I'm a Chiefs fan.

If only allowed to pick from starters today i would choose Carson Palmer.. mainly because he is a great passer and Cincinnati loves to run a no huddle offense.. so 1:40 left they wont be rattled under pressure having to go no huddle. But if i could choose any QB i would choose JOHN ELWAY.. great leader.. can we say 98Yard drive versus Cleavland browns with time running out n the 80s.. i woudl want him under center for my team

Unfortunately I have to go with the experience of Brett Farve. I know it may sound a little crazy to some but you need a guy that will manage this time and time out properly in this situation.

Vince Young

Yea, he's a rookie
Yea, the Titians stink

But watch him. He makes plays with his legs, and with his arm and does it quite well. Possibly better than Vick because he dosen't over do the running.

Plus..hasn't this been their like past 2-3 games (Jacksonville excluded) a 4th quarter comeback under Vince Young...

I would punt it. hope my defense stops them. and let them punt it to Devin Hester. That guy is scary. I think any team in the NFL right now would rather have their D on the field against any QB except Brady and Manning, than to have to punt to Devin.

I would have to go with Drew Brees...he is a good QB and can throw accurate passes to lead recivers out of bounds...and is dangerous with throwing the deep ball
