I have NEVER heard of trying that. You need to be careful taking things like that or the castor oil. You will end up making such a mess on the table and yourself....not how you want your baby to come in the world.
What worked w/me each time to help it along was nipple stimulation, I don't know how it works but I think something internally tells your boobs hey it's about time to go to work (feeding the baby).

Hey if your messing with stuff like that, you are better being honest and simply dealing with doctor. Any complications with your birth and you are safer with doctor.
