What can I do? It is very dry before the big day! I have a humidifier going and water it well. What can I do? My beautiful tree has branches that are droopy! Anyone with suggestions?

You will have to saw the end of the tree trunk off. The pine resin may have sealed the end of the trunk and it cannot get water.

Its all in how wet you keep it,otherwise go down to the mall and try again, you don't want to look silly on the big day do you?People will point and laugh and say "there goes the girl with the crappy Christmas tree"....better hurry

Get a new tree. Seriously, if it's wilting that means it's getting drier as time passes and increasing your risk for a fire hazard. As in most cases, you can't raise the dead, so get rid of it and go find yourself a 50% off special. Good luck.

When you water it put about a cup of sugar in it, it will shock the tree back to life.

It is probably to late. You could try cutting the first 5 to 10 cm of the trunk and putting it into fresh water.

A tip for next year, don't get it so early. We got ours on the 10th and it is greener than when we got it!
