My ex-husband wants to move to another state because of a new job. He currently has custody of our 14 year old daughter. I asked him to send her to me and then he can move. I live in another state.

This was his response:

You have NO idea of the amount of damage you have caused the child.

I will NOT let you just walk away and do other selfish things. You will NEVER be happy. (He found out that I was thinking of moving on and getting resettled.)

Today the child was crying...

I wish I was never born. My best gift is if I die. I am a neglected child...for whom nobody cares...

A selfish person like you does NOT deserve a child....Only money is important for you and your family....

You are a enemy of the house... and the child...

He is the one neglecting the child by leaving her alone for hours and not spending time with her. He does not return from work until late in the evening.

I feel sad when I read this. I don't know how to respond though.

Hi. I am a man. You're ex-husband is an asshole. Count your blessing that you are not married to the loser anymore.

Do something about making the child happy.

Children should not be involve in the affairs of parents. It sounds like you screwed up big time and are now reaping what you sowed.

Can you work things out with you husband? or exhusband?

My wife left me for selfish reasons and I hope she feels just as you do. No effort was made to protect the children or work on the marriage.

Try to start over and go to church and find the real meaning of life. 'cause if it isn't God then the one who dies with the most possesions wins..... and you dont want that do you?

USE A MINI TAPE RECORDER AND NEXT TIME RECORD WHAT HE SAYS
SHOW TO YOUR LAWYER AND THAT WAY THE LAWYER MAY USE THAT INFO AGAINST HIM
HE IS ABUSING HER PSYCHOLOGICALLY
GOOD LUCK
