Yep. Dont be discouraged - keep at it - at least you are there!
When I was 15 I went through what you could call a 'rebellious stage'. I was in an academic extension class, school councillor - all that stuff. Then I went a bit odd and decided school was unimportant, and my goal in life was to become a beach bum! (Sad huh?)
Now I have woken up to myself, and am having to go to university at the age of 30 to try to get some sort of qualification!
Idiotic.
So, no matter how badly you think you are doing, at least you are there and still giving it a go. Bravo. Keep at it, and trust me, by the time you are my age you will be so relieved you did.

Of course.... life is a journey... we need to make mistakes to learn from them.
If it makes you feel any better, I transferred schools between my sophomore and junior year and watched my math grade plummet from an A+ to a D-.... The methods of teaching and expectations were different between the two schools... I ended up having to go through summer school the following summer to fill-in the gaps.
In college, I started having difficulties around the beginning of my sophomore year... Eventually I was diagnosed with ADD and have needed to take medications for ADD ever since I was diagnosed.
Try not to worry about your GPA... Although colleges will want to see your transcripts, your performance on a college entrance exam seems to take precedence over your GPA.... You still have the opportunity to redeem yourself.

I'm in the second term of my junior year, right know I'm just thinking how in the world I'm going to make up those classes i didn't get a passing score!!!!!!! Your are going find at least you still have a pretty high GPA.

Looking at High School like that is a bad mistake in itself...High School matters only until you get into college and then in most professions they are forgotten and usually never brought up again. Also life is never one that can be truly messed up...unless you cause a permanent solution to a temporary problem.

Hey now, that's not so bad. Everyone sometimes falls short of their goals and yours is just a slight trip up on the sidewalk of life. So don't be so hard on yourself,OK? You still have a lot of living / learning ahead of you both in academics and the wide open highway of life!

That's life.. things tend to get harder once you've learned the previous lesson. You've gotten over the first hump though.. you know that things are more difficult, so rethink your strategy. Find tutors or mentors that are easy for you to relate to. Make sure that you're giving yourself enough time for things to sink in and that you understand before you stop asking questions. You're in contol of how you do and the steps you take to get there. ;)
