I think it goes a lot deeper than that. I've seen some clips of Hall mentioning it to Coach Mora on the field during the game. As for T.O. admitting what he did, he later came back and said that it was more of an inadvertant spittle than blatant spit. He went back on what he already said was true. Plus, Hall talks all that trash to every WR he plays, it just so happens that T.O. receives more attention already. And Hall gets beat and taken to the house some but he doesn't accuse those guys of having spit on him even though he's talked the same trash to them.
And another thing, I don't think you realize that (and I've seen some former nfl players say this on the issue) spitting on a guy is a lower blow than punching him or talkin about his momma. You just don't spit on a player. And the incident occurred some 6 plays into the game or something. What T.O. did was completely uncalled for. Personally I don't care for either player but Hall was a victim in this case. NFL players talk trash all the time. Look at Chad Johnson, Jeremy Shockey, Jeremy Stevens and Joey Porter last year before the super bowl, and Roy Williams this year. Trash talk is part of the game these days, but spitting on a guy has no place anywhere in the game. Period. no excuses

I think Hall handled it well. What would you do if a guy spit in your face? I'm a female, and if some chick came and spit in my face I don't know if I could hold myself back. Spitting on someone is so disrespectful. And if I remember correctly (I could be wrong), TO was the one who first started talking about it and admitted to doing it because he was "bugging him". In the NFL or any sport for that matter, you try and get into your opponents head, that's part of the game. Ya, you talk trash or stuff like that, but everyone does it...it's pressure.
TO couldn't handle the pressure and he handled the situation like a baby. It's probably just another ploy to keep his name buzzing through the media, just like TO always does. The best thing to do is to ignore him and maybe just maybe he'll go away!
If he would've just kept his mouth shut and played ball, he would probably be considered a great athlete, but looking at him now...if something should happen with him and the Cowboys in the offseason, who would really pick him up? Let him talk all he wants, because dropping 17 balls this year and running your mouth and disrespecting your coaches, fellow players, and everyone around you is only going to hurt what's left of his career.

Well anyone that thinks T.O. is anything but a media whore, needs to hush up! LOL
The whole thing was just a media/attention grabbing situation from the start.
I thought it was T.O. that brought it public first, but maybe I'm wrong. I'm not a huge fan of his, so I'm tending to lean toward the fact that his antics are getting old. I can't quote a source specifically, but I heard that Parcels told J. Jones that either T.O. is gone next year or he is...........!!!

There is just no professionalism from so many players these days, they take their jobs for granted. They act like they own the world and are looked up to by many people, but they set terrible examples. There are some well mannered players out there, but some of them have no respect for anyone.
So to conclude, I think that all the bad mouthing should never happen and giving it publicity is awful because I want to watch some nice football, not here about some childish fighting.

When a man spits in your face no matter who it is is just down right degrading and disgusting. Damn right he should have said something. Spitting in someones face should not be tolerated anywhere but especially not in front of millions of viewers trying to enjoy a football game. T.O. is just a punk who does stuipid s hit because he has mentality of a whiny 12 year old.

no Hall did what was right, spitting on someone no matter what the circumstance is, is the most disrespectful thing one person can do to another, im glad he brought this up. not just cause im an eagles fan but its dirty and uncalled for. you dont go spitting in peoples faces because your frustrated, TO is a piece of ****, there is nothing else you can say. Yeah Owens admitted it and now is trying to appeal it, when TO grows up let me know until then he deserves what ever happens to him.

He should have settled it off the field like he did yes.
However, he should NOT have gone to the media
That puts him basicly on the same level as T.O.
There are two things you don't do in sports, #1 Spitting on a man, #2 Running to the media about your problems, of ANY kind.
Snitches get Stitches
