1. It's located in the Middle East.
2. Has a population of around 70 million.
3. It is 1'648'195 km2
4. The official language of the country is Persian (Farsi) (which has nothing to do with Arabic) (61% of the population speaks Farsi and 39% speaks Turkish!)
5. They are white-skinned. (unlike Afghans and Eastern countries)
6. They are very hospitable and extremely patriotic
7. The official religion of the country is Islam (Shia) (Yet you can find Sunnis, Christians, Jews, and Zoroastrians in Iran.)
8. Iran is a hot country. South of Iran is hotter than other parts.(Yet in north and north west of Iran it can be really frigid in winter)

im iranian but we like being called persian aswell
lots of people think cause we get called persians that iran is called persia but its called iran
very confusing but very annoeyin lol
persia was consisting of some middle eastern countries but now everyone is separated and have their own problems.
