I Love Rock & Roll it's even got an easy-ish "solo" to learn as well, unlike Smoke on the Water, it's easily doable from front to back.

Anything Nirvana is easy as pie.
As for those bands you like, look up the tablature online and usually those are modified easier ways to play the songs.
