Do you remember the law suits years back against Microsoft because Internet Explorer was tied to the Operating System. There is no way to get rid of IE. Therefore, I believe attempting to remove IE will in fact give you the option to go backward to an earlier version. Go to Start | Programs | Add Remove Programs | Add Remove Windows Components and try to get rid of IE. It should offer you the chance to downgrade/ uninstall latest. I believe this is how it worked with previous versions. Good luck.

WOW - sorry to hear that. I downloaded IE7 and it's awesome at least for me because I can use the tabs and my system runs at the same speed as usual. Anyways, you should be able to Go to Add/Remove Programs and remove IE7. Then get a Windows CD or the disk you used when IE 6 was originally installed. Make sure that you can find IE6 before you delete IE7. I could not find it on Microsofts downloads and I'm not sure where to get it other than off of a Windows CD.

Might want to try a roll back or system restore.
If they don't work, they check out Microsoft KnowledgeBase.
Hope that helps
