There is no genetic prohibition against marrying and having
children with your 1st cousin....No greater chance of birth defects
than if with an unrelated total stranger

Wow! Alright now listen now that you know I suggest that you find someone non-family to continue your intimate relations with.
There are other women/ladies/girls out here in this world that I am sure you could get involved with. Legal? maybe ~ maybe not but morally it's just wrong in my opinion.
Birth defects? Possible if you were to have children but come on now are you and your cousin willing to take that risk? Why take such a chance on a child that has no choice.
Think about this, you know better.
Keep those boxers/briefs whatever up when it comes to your cousin!!
And during the holidays keep your candy cane out of the family figi pudding!!

I've heard it said, it is legal to marry a relative as long as they are at least a 3rd cousin or beyond. Personally I think people would be better off if they would not be intimate with anybody until married.

President FDR and Eleanor were like 4th or 5th cousins. Immigrant families 100-150 years ago made their daughters marry distant cousins.

Yes, its fine. People only really get strung out about relations if it's 1st cousin or closer.

It's okay, since 4th cousin is not incest. But i would definitely cut relations and never speak of it again.
