Wow, the majority of these people are extremely rude and they obviously have no sense. Walt Disney World is an excellent place for a honeymoon. In fact, it's one of the top honeymoon/wedding destinations in the world, and I definitely plan on getting married and having our honeymoon there. It's funny how people assume it's "a bunch of snot nosed bratty kids running around and screaming." That is one hundred percent untrue. You'll find more adults at Walt Disney World than children, and actually, it is very romantic vacationing at Walt Disney World with your loved one. My boyfriend and I go each summer and have the time of our lives. We don't vacation anywhere else, we love it there so much! We don't at all feel bothered by any of the children. Seriously, when you're vacationing or honeymooning with your loved one, you're having such an incredible time that the children and other families around don't affect you at all. I have a hard time believing any of these people who've answered have ever experience Walt Disney World with their significant other, because if they had they wouldn't have given such inane, thoughtless comments.

Anyway, I think the best park for a honeymoon would either be the Magic Kingdom or EPCOT. The Magic Kingdom has a very large selection of attractions, and it's the heart of Walt Disney World. It makes for a very romantic setting with the beautiful icon of the park, Cinderella Castle. The fireworks display, Wishes Nighttime Spectacular, and the SpectroMagic Parade are amazing. If you go, make reservations for a nice, romantic dinner at Tony's Town Square. The restaurant is themed to the move "Lady and the Tramp." It's one of my favorite restaurants on property. They serve wonderful Italian food, and the tiramisu for dessert is the best I've ever had. Now, EPCOT's a good choice, too. There's also a large selection of attractions at this park, but there's a really great selection of restaurants, too. The Coral Reef Restaurant can be very romantic. It's a gorgeous restaurant and the Living Seas Aquarium tank acts as a wall, so there's a view of the fish and sharks from every table. Le Cellier Steakhouse at the Canada Pavilion at World Showcase is nice, too. They serve the best filets. For an even more romantic setting, have dinner at the Bistro de Paris on the second floor above Les Chefs de France at the France Pavilion. The IllumiNations: Reflections of Earth fireworks display is amazing. You can take a fireworks cruise - my boyfriend and I did that this summer - it was very romantic and much better than the viewing from the crowd. It was just the two of us on the boat with the driver.

I'm not sure what prices you're looking for - prices for park admission or prices for the honeymoon, but you can check out this link. It's for the Disney's Fairy Tale Weddings website. It's for planning honeymoons, too. There's a free DVD you can order if you'd like. I ordered it...

Anyway, I hope I could help! Don't let the negative comments others have made change your mind, and congratulations on your marriage!

Last poster was right on. Being a little older, we like Epcot, especially becuase of the world showcase. Epcot has a few great rides, but we find that we spend much more time going from country to country on the back half.

As it is your Honeymoon, you may want to stay at one of the nicer resort style hotels. But there is a cost with that. We used to come down here once a year and have since moved to the Tampa area. We have found that for value minded, the pop centrury is the best thing going. It is about the same price as the hotels out on 192, and a little cheaper than I-drive. But you get all the disney benifits by staying there. In the parks early, access to the transportation and free parking. While everyone focuses on the theme park areas, don't forget there are some great trips just outside of Orlando that are great this time of year. BlueSprings (close) and Crystal River (about 60 -75 minutes) have the manatees in. And the SilverSprings is a magical place in a different way. (And these help keep it a little easier on the purse strings.)

Congratulations!

We Honeymooned there in July '06 on the Port Orleans French Quarter. And whilst we cherished it there and had a quality time, if I had been sensible I'd not ever return in the summertime once more. It's simply too scorching for us. Not definite whilst your marriage ceremony is, however you would decide to avoid wasting your Honeymoon until a time whilst Disney by and large provides within the eating plan at no cost, with a purpose to prevent a ton of cash. Though it is not ever assured Disney will do it once more, the percentages are well. They generally tend to do it in Set/Oct, so despite the fact that you will have a summer season marriage ceremony you would handiest must wait a couple of months to Honeymoon.

We spent the first week of our honeymoon there as well and had a fantastic time. We went to all of the Disney places and Universal Studios as well. We had more fun there than we did on the 12 days cruise that followed and it was almost a pretty.

Magiic Kingdom of course. I got married on the castle stage setting, then stayed at the Grand Floridian Hotel Honeymooner's Suite. It was like something out fo a fairytale, the way they treat you, and it was actually really cheap(under Disney standards). Only about 3 grand.

The works and legacy of Walt Disney have brainwashed American people for decades. Disney world is a place for kids not for a romantic honeymoon. In five to ten years when you'll have kids you could consider going to Disney World. Go to Hawai or Tahiti if you can afford it.

We were married in 1986 and took the Disney cruise in Fla. 4 days on board ship and 3 more on land. We had a great time. Consider the cruise.
