I stayed up late last night finishing a slideshow presentation which is due tomorrow. Since it was late and i was a little out of it, I thought I had saved my work..but now I can't seem to find it anywhere on my computer....and its too late to get it redone tonight. So when I go into class tomorrow morning what should I tell my teacher and how do I know she'll believe me? What do you think she'll have me do? Tomorrow is the last day possible to present before winter break. ((I'm in 9th grade)) Help??

I would tell your teacher the truth and explain to your teacher in detail everything that your slide show presentation was going to be about. This way your teacher know that you did make an effort to complete your assignment and if you are a student who usually turn in your projects on time, remind your teacher that you always turn your work in on time and please put that into consideration and ask what can you do to make up the work. Good luck. I hope everything works out for you.

This is going to sound silly and obvious, but first try using the search tool on your computer, in case you forgot where you saved it. Teachers hear the "my computer erased it" excuse all the time, so I would bring something in to prove that you worked on it. Maybe a written outline of your presentation, and any research materials that you collected. Try and get it redone tonight, though!
