anywhere else. I don't want any other zip codes... I don't have the transportation to go and come and I need somewhere close to where I live - I need to complete 10 hours which might take me a few days.

I tired volunteermatch.org - but I couldn't find any in exactly my zip code - they're all these other zip codes 5-20 miles away.

HELP!!! I want to do this and get it over with on Christmas break, which I just started today because I don't celebrate Christmas and this is the perfect time - I'm super busy with HW on school days. My credit hours are due on March 23, 2006 btw.

THANK YOU ALL!

I guarantee the VA medical center on Jefferson Barracks road would love to have you.

A place like Applegate retirement home on telegraph road would love to have you as well. The elderly would like to share some stories, and you might learn a little about the "old times".

Good luck!

This is weird, but I used to live in that area code. As a matter of fact, Bella Villa.

What about the Motherhouse Library on E. Ripa Ave? Have you considered asking the veteran's cemetery on Lemay Ferry Rd. if you can get volunteer hours?

What's the big deal about having to take the bus to do volunteer work? It's only 10 hours, which you can do in 2 or 3 days, and you got 3 months to complete it. Consider yourself lucky. I had to do 240 hours of community service just to graduate.

Try Hospitals, Goodwill, Salvation Army, Religious organizations,
Doctors, Health services, Extension office, Library,Police department, Sheriffs office, Nursing homes. Contact your Mayor and ask where you could help. Good luck and Happy Holidays!
